Kelsey Buccelli, CPA

After graduating from Quinnipiac University in 2014, I started my career at a big-four accounting firm, specializing in providing audit & assurance services for life science companies in Boston. My passion was working with privately-held businesses, watching them grow, and ultimately assisting them on their path to becoming public.

I grew up surrounded by a family of entrepreneurs, and have observed many of these family members and friends wrestle with the managerial side of their businesses. They started their businesses as a way to monetize their passions, but dread '“office hours” spent invoicing and bookkeeping, after a day spent doing what they truly love.

Between hearing the accounts of these entrepreneurs lose the spark for what it is that they love doing, and sacrifice family time or other hobbies, and seeing entities achieve impressive levels of growth during my time in public accounting, my experience made me eager to cultivate my own practice, one that would effectively intersect my expertise with the ability to add value to my community.

Most typically don’t associate the adjective “creative” with an accountant. When I’m not crunching numbers, you can find me painting, “DIY-ing” a project for the house, or learning a new musical instrument. My mission is to carry that creativity to a profession that is stereotyped as not creative, and implement creative business solutions to help small to medium entities thrive. I want to learn your business: the supply chain model, the customers you serve, the successes that bring you the most joy, and the pain points along the way, in order to identify pitfalls and solutions from both a managerial and financial perspective.
